The waiting is over...

Here it is:

I got to the theater at 9am for our 10am showing.  I told all my girlfriends I'd get there early and hold space in the line for us.  Then I started to think I was nuts for getting there so early.  A 10am movie is going to be pretty empty... it's not Star Wars for Pete's sake, I thought to myself.  I decided to go at 9am since I promised everyone and this is what I saw:

I did get there early enough to be toward the front but within half an hour this line went all the way down the mall!  We had a blast.  The movie was fun - we laughed, we cried!  A perfect girlfriend movie!  (I wish my 9-5 girlfriends could have played hooky!) I even wore my necklace.  (I've had this since I was ten so I was wearing this long before Carrie Bradshaw!)

Neva

I couldn't wait to go to Neva's baby shower, since Baby was already here!!! We all loved getting our baby fix as we passed her along. (Hard to take pics whilst wallowing in babiness though!)

Snow Day

Who says So. Cal. doesn't have seasons? Look at the beautiful snow we have in our local mountains... without the -20 degree temperature, thank you very much! Most of my daughters second grade class meet up in Frasier Park for some fun. Little Isabella, who I photographed in December was there and looked like the cutest pink marshmallow! Miss Deb's Baby Shower

One of my girlfriends, whom I went to school with by the way, had her baby shower yesterday. She is expecting a boy, and after two gorgeous girls (one of who is buddies with my daughter) is excited to start having a bit of blue in her house! We had a great time eating delicious food and cake and decorating spit-up diapers (what a cute idea!). Deb is a pre-school teacher, hence the "Miss Deb" moniker, and is friends with everyone so it was a full house! We can't wait to hold Baby Joshua! Hopefully she'll let me take some newborn photos for her!!! Check out the photo album and slideshow.

Grumman Albatross

I had the great oppurtunity to go see this beautiful airplane today. My friends at Lost Squadron invited me over to Whiteman Airport to check it out. The Albatross is being restored but it already looked great to me! I love old planes, so cool!!!
